Barcelona should be patient with Vitor Roque as he adapts, just as Real Madrid treated Vinicius Junior in his early days as he became the star he is today.
Former Barcelona director of football Jordi Cruyff has advise his old club to be patient with Vitor Roque after the Brazilian forward had a difficult start to his career at the Blaugrana before being sent on loan to Real Betis for the season, Ufabet Sport reports on Friday.
Barcelona sporting director Anderson Deco has previously confirmed he still has faith in Vitor Roque and believes the 19-year-old forward can succeed at the Catalan giants in the future, having improved during his loan spell at Real Betico this season.
Former Barcelona chief Cruyff is also confident in Vitor Roque’s potential and has advised his old club to be patient with the player’s development, similar to how Real Madrid treated Vinicius Junior in his early years.
‘I’ve said before that being a coach UFABET here is very complicate. You have to be patient, especially when you start a new project. When you have a new foreign boy coming in.’
‘I always remember Vinicius’s first years at Real Madrid. The same thing happened in Barcelona and maybe there was not so much patience. Real Madrid had it and in the end they had different people,’ Cruyff said.
